California Pizza Kitchen is cutting carbs and taking names. As a heightened health awareness and the keto diet have swept the nation, many Americans are looking for healthier alternatives to their favorite foods, and CPK is delivering the guilt-free goodness.
The tasty pizza chain has recently rolled out the addition of cauliflower pizza crust, resulting in health-conscious pizza-lovers celebrating everywhere.
Cauliflower pizza crust isn’t a new sensation, but CPK is the first in the industry to offer the low-carb option to patrons. Before, eaters were tasked with making the finicky veggie crust at home.
New pizzas on the menu include the Sonoma Grilled Chicken Flatbread, featuring marinated red grapes roasted in the hearth oven plus grilled chicken, double cream Brie, caramelized onions, Parmesan, and fresh arugula. Drooling yet? Another add is the California Veggie with eggplant, broccolini, Cremini mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes, roasted corn, red onions, and Mozzarella. The Mushroom Pepperoni Sausage is a must for meat-eaters.
In addition to the cauliflower crust option, CPK has also added some delicious new bites to their ever-expanding menu. Innovative yet familiar, the spicy buffalo cauliflower is a lighter alternative to traditional wings. And the Sparkling Watermelon-Lime drink—lemon Perrier with watermelon flavor, fresh mint and lime—is the perfect sip to satisfy the spices. If you’re looking for a drink with a little more punch, the sangria flight will be a trio you’d like to meet.
Did we also mention there’s a Shanghai Power Bowl gracing the new menu?
