Known for its healthy, nutritious and delicious menu, Flower Child recently opened another Georgia location to complement its existing Buckhead restaurant. This second iteration of the balanced and bright health-focused eatery arrived in Sandy Springs this October. Situated in an airy, open space, Flower Child’s newest location continues to evoke the modern yet bohemian atmosphere the restaurant chain has become known for, with seating for up to 78 guests inside and space for an additional 82 outside.
Of course, the focus at Flower Child has always been the food. Founded on the belief that healthy doesn’t need to be bland or flavorless, the menu continues to boast a wide range of made-from-scratch dishes centered around seasonal produce, lean proteins and whole grains. Long-standing customer favorites are at the center of the menu, such as the Skinny Cobb and Chopped Vegetable salads and the Mother Earth bowl with its delicious combination of ancient grains, avocado, sweet potato, cucumber, Portobello mushrooms, charred onion, leafy greens, hemp, red pepper miso vinaigrette and broccoli pesto.
Newcomers and Flower Child devotees alike can expect a full menu, ranging from appetizers to salads, wraps, bowls and plates. Dessert hasn’t been overlooked, either. Diners can finish their meals with a sweet (and gluten-free!) treat such as chocolate chip cookies, homemade brownies or chocolate pudding. Fresh and seasonal drinks harmonize with Flower Child’s food offerings; fresh-pressed juices, kombucha, organic coffee and seasonal lemonade options are all available, as are local craft beers and curated wines.
